swiss oats recipe

I made this for breakfast this morning. Delicious!! I used vanilla soy milk to soak the oats, along with a healthy shake of cinnammon. This morning I added fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a few chopped pecans. I love this. It's simple, nutritious, and delicious. I plan to make it at least once a week, if not more!

Check out Zonya's site for more great nutrition information and tasty recipes!

LM - this looks delicious. thanks for sharing.
A while back, I think you told us about a calculator on the CL site, which helps you figure out calories, etc. on your recipes. I cannot find the link for this conversation. Could you please repost it sometime?

Thanks.

mamatoo -- This really is a favorite of mine, and so, so easy!!

I don't know of a calculator on the CL site, but I get a lot of my recipes from the site, and nutritionals are usually included.

Some people have the "Mastercook" software, which provides nutritionals when you plug in the recipe.

Good luck!!

Hey, I was thinking about this recipe and wanted to pass along a little oatmeal tip I leared this week:
cook in apple cider. I used half/half cider + water to cook the oatmeal with raisins and walnut pieces. Boys loved it, as did me. No sweetener (= calories!) needed. :)

blessings on you.
